About PICKL

Pickleball grew faster than the places to talk about it. PICKL is the digital clubhouse: one place to build a player identity, find people to play with, keep a record that means something, and work out where to play next.

What makes it different

Every part of PICKL is shaped around how pickleball is actually played rather than adapted from a general-purpose social network:

• Profiles say how you play. Level, rating and its source, dominant hand, style, preferred format, home court, availability — the things another player needs before asking you for a game.
• Results are confirmed by the people who were there. A match counts towards your record once everyone tagged in it agrees. Nobody can invent a season.
• Ratings belong to whoever issued them. PICKL does not issue its own and never presents itself as a replacement for DUPR or UTR-P.
• Local is the default. Crews, courts and open games are organised around where you actually play.

How we think about your data

There is no field anywhere in PICKL for your home address. Location is city-level unless you deliberately check in somewhere, and check-ins expire. Your Locker, your settings and your messages are private — staff cannot read your messages, and that is enforced in the database rather than by policy. More in Privacy.

How we think about engagement

There is a chronological Following feed and there always will be. Trending weighs how many different people engaged, not how many times, so nothing rises by being brigaded. We do not use fake notifications, fake scarcity, or a cancellation flow that is harder than signing up.

PICKL, at pickl.wtf. Confident, a bit cheeky, easy to remember, and short enough to say across a court.
